For tomorrow's pitch

How does this sound?

“We’re exploring the results of the introspection that occurs in each character when something shakes up the status quo, forcing them to realize that they don’t have as much control of there lives as they thought.”

I know it’s different than we discussed (and it’s wordy) but I think it hits everything we talked about plus it adds the element of not having control. I’m just not sure it’s a “theme”.
